Cocobolo is a rich brown color and lighter in weight than it's Grenadilla cousin, and the VT Ebonite lined top joint drastically reduces cracking and eases the break-in process.  
 
Cocobolo comes in various shades of reds and browns.  This photo is of one of the actual in-stock oboes, which is a particularly lovely red shade.
