FAQ

What is your trial policy?

We offer a one week trial on new instruments. If you need to bring the instrument to your lesson or try it in a concert hall please arrange for this ahead of time.

I need to ship my instrument in for repair. Which shipping method should I use?

To ship an instrument for repair please use services by UPS or Fedex. Try to time the shipment so it doesn’t sit in a shipping facility over a weekend. Insuring your instrument through the carrier is expensive and is only recommended if you don’t have another policy that covers your instrument. If you carry a policy on your instrument insure it through FedEx or UPS for $500 (the deductible on most policies). Any box that is insured will require a signature for delivery, which is good. Please remember to keep your contact information in your case.

I have an emergency. Can you help me today?

I will always do my best to accommodate anyone with a true emergency. Please contact me by phone or email (or both).

I left a message for you. Why haven't I heard back?

I apologize in advance, but this happens more often than I’d like. I’m incredibly dedicated to the woodwind community, but often distracted by the hectic demands of family life. If you don’t hear back from me within a couple of days, please try again.

Should I humidify my instrument while it's in the case?

Yes! We offer a low maintance, reliable humidifier on our product page. It is especially important to use humidifiers in the winter months, but do remember that air conditioning also dries the air.
