The CocoJazz model is one of our most popular XL oboes.  It combines a swirly ebonite top joint with a cocobolo bottom and bell.  This gives you a slightly lighter weight instrument without sacrificing projection and resonance.  And it looks really cool.  
 
As with all synthetic top oboes, they don't require a break-in and there is no possibility of cracking or warping.
