This is a gold plated vent designed to improve the saggy, unstable high C on English Horns. It fits Loree and Monnig instruments and comes complete with a teflon sealing ring. The vent was developed in collaboration with Pedro Diaz of the metropolitan Opera.

Although eay to install, this does require an Octave Vent Remover to remove the old vent and tighten the new one. Although 95% of the time the old pad will seal on the new vent, be prepared to visit a repair person if you're not comfortable refitting or replacing the pad.
