We are unsure of the age or exact model of this Howarth intermediate oboe but it closely resembles the current Howarth S40C. It has a full conservatory mechanism with both left F, low Bb, and bell reso, but has a closed D key to accomodate smaller hands.
It has just had a thorough servicing in our repair shop and has no cracks in the top joint. There are small "Forced" cracks in the center and bell tenons, typical of older instruments, these do not affect the instrument in the slightest. It is super clean and has had almost all of it's pads replaced here in our shop, so it should be good for a while!
It comes in a new Protec micro zip case. Serial number A0619.
