These cases with covers are great because of their versatility! You can use the lightweight, minimalist inner case by itself or put it in a tote bag with your other things, But you also have the option to add the outer cover for additional protection, storage space, and carrying straps. We love how it hangs vertically and stays lightweight.
We have this case in two combinations: Fully nylon inner case and outer case cover, or Leather case cover with nylon inner case. Leather is heavy (and expensive) so by making the interior case nylon we were able to save substantial weight and cost.
