Tenon Cap for Bassoon Long Joint

We've heard that bassoons in the MB1 case can be susceptible to chips in the long joint tenon.  We developed these tenon caps to reduce the possibility of breaks or chips to the tenon ends.  It slides over the cork or thread and the instrument fits in the case snugly and securely.   

We can make these in any size.  We have found that Fox bassoons are 40.5mm in diameter and the Heckel 12,000 we measured was 41.5, so those are two typical sizes we stock.  However, we can manufacture these in any size.
