This bassoon was purchased new in 2019 with the assistance of Frank Morelli and has won at least two major auditions (that we know of!) It is in perfect preowned condition, super clean, with shiny silver plating and a perfect maple body. This instrument was worked on by Paul Nordby in 2023, where he installed his clever "Nordby Knob" to facilitate comfortable playing while standing.
We have gone over the instrument to make sure it is in tiptop condition. It comes in a black leather Marcus Bonna case with the "LEITZINGER" logo embroidered on the lid, and because this is the "Compact Model" with the elongated bell and shortened long joint the case is ultra compact to carry.
