The S50C VT Oboe is really considered an entry-level professional oboe rather than an intermediate model.  It has a rich sound and a great scale, and the VT lining in the top joint minimizes cracking and eases the break in process.  It is a full Grenadilla instrument with a full conservatory mechanism and lined tenons, and comes with a case and case cover.
