The S40C VT Oboe is our most popular intermediate model.  It has a rich sound and a great scale, and the VT lining in the top joint minimizes cracking and eases the break in process.  This is a great oboe for any student and is even appropriate for adult amateurs or doublers on a budget.  
 
This is a full Grenadilla instrument with a lined bore in the top joint.  It has a full conservatory mechanism with the exception of the split ring D.
